Innovation takes center stage in this ACuTe co-production by Théâtre de Liège, where the Venedig Meer company employs an astonishing stage device powered by gravitational energy to weave a compelling narrative. This innovative device opens up unsuspected dramaturgical paths, drawing audiences into the lives of three individuals: Eva, 44 years old, Rinus, 39 years old, and Moïra, 9 years old.
Set against the backdrop of a self-destructing planet plagued by natural disasters and wars, this unconventional family unit—a couple who aren’t truly a couple—confronts their harsh reality with humor, joy, and diversion. Their mission: to raise young Moïra, who carries the weight of the world on her shoulders, and equip her to change it for the better.
